Covid Update

Further measures to protect the population from the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been announced by the First Minister as Scotland faces an upsurge in cases. The new restrictions focus on no household visits, gatherings and closing times for all hospitality settings.

This remains an uncertain and worrying time for everyone, so we will continue to provide our restricted and limited centre-based services in compliance with current guidance, and our online physiotherapy support services and group classes. Please keep an eye on our website for up-to-date information about all these services.

These measures are likely to present a major challenge for some time to come and we are therefore extremely grateful to all our clients who are supporting us by continuing their monthly standing order or other contributions. At this point we have no idea how long this dual service provision

will last or how long it will be until we are able to resume our services as we did before but please be assured that this is being monitored on an ongoing basis. Thanks to your support we have been able to keep the charity going since the lockdown and this remains our key aim going forwards.

However, these current measures not only limit and restrict the services we are able to deliver at the centre but also bring additional costs for our charity, as with any other client-focused organisation at the moment.

I am sure you will understand and appreciate that we will need to review our service contribution and charging levels in the light of this. We will therefore be doing this over the next few weeks and will of course advise and give notice to all our clients on any future changes in due course.

Currently the Centre is even more reliant on donations and fundraising support to maintain its services and to support the longer-term survival of the charity. Our fundraising page is still active and any donations will be gratefully received.
